Barangay Igcabito-on

Situated in Miagao, Iloilo, Barangay Igcabito-on is one of 119 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Igcabito-on had a population of 461. This made it the 55th largest of 119 barangays in Miagao by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Igcabito-on accounted for approximately 0.68% of the total population of Miagao, which stood at 68,115 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Igcabito-on changed from 344 to 461, a shift of +34.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Miagao. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Igcabito-on as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
