Barangay Maninila

Barangay Maninila is a small barangay in the municipality of Miagao, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Maninila had a population of 1,139. This made it the 13th largest of 119 barangays in Miagao by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Maninila accounted for approximately 1.67% of the total population of Miagao, which stood at 68,115 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Maninila moving from 1,063 residents to 1,139 residents, an intercensal change of +7.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Maninila as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
