Barangay Nam-o Norte

Barangay Nam-o Norte is a very small barangay in the municipality of Miagao, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Nam-o Norte had a population of 307. This made it the 83rd largest of 119 barangays in Miagao by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nam-o Norte accounted for approximately 0.45% of the total population of Miagao, which stood at 68,115 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Nam-o Norte moving from 291 residents to 307 residents, an intercensal change of +5.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Nam-o Norte as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
