Barangay Ubos Ilaya (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Ubos Ilaya (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Miagao in Iloilo, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Ubos Ilaya (Pob.) had a population of 918. This made it the 20th largest of 119 barangays in Miagao by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ubos Ilaya (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.35% of the total population of Miagao, which stood at 68,115 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 896 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 918 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +2.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Ubos Ilaya (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
