Barangay Tarusanan

Barangay Tarusanan is a small barangay in the municipality of Milaor, located in the province of Camarines Sur, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tarusanan had a population of 757. This made it the 19th largest of 20 barangays in Milaor by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tarusanan accounted for approximately 2.23% of the total population of Milaor, which stood at 33,963 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tarusanan moving from 648 residents to 757 residents, an intercensal change of +16.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Tarusanan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
