Barangay Guintorelan

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Guintorelan is one of the administrative divisions of Mobo in Masbate, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Guintorelan had a population of 419. This made it the 27th largest of 29 barangays in Mobo by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Guintorelan accounted for approximately 1.03% of the total population of Mobo, which stood at 40,823 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Guintorelan changed from 442 to 419, a shift of -5.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Mobo. Barangay Guintorelan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Mobo is a municipality comprising 29 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Guintorelan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
