Barangay Lomocloc

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Lomocloc is one of the administrative divisions of Mobo in Masbate, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lomocloc had a population of 651. This made it the 22nd largest of 29 barangays in Mobo by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lomocloc accounted for approximately 1.59% of the total population of Mobo, which stood at 40,823 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Lomocloc changed from 616 to 651, a shift of +5.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Mobo. Barangay Lomocloc is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Mobo is a municipality comprising 29 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lomocloc, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
