Barangay Ino

Situated in Mogpog, Marinduque, Barangay Ino is one of 37 barangays that make up the municipality within MIMAROPA Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Ino had a population of 1,489. This made it the 5th largest of 37 barangays in Mogpog by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ino accounted for approximately 4.31% of the total population of Mogpog, which stood at 34,516 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Ino moving from 1,472 residents to 1,489 residents, an intercensal change of +1.2%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Ino as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
