Barangay Libertad

Situated in Nabas, Aklan, Barangay Libertad is one of 20 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Libertad had a population of 1,803. This made it the 11th largest of 20 barangays in Nabas by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Libertad accounted for approximately 4.44% of the total population of Nabas, which stood at 40,632 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Libertad moving from 1,653 residents to 1,803 residents, an intercensal change of +9.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
