Barangay Angustia

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Angustia is one of the administrative divisions of Nabua in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Angustia had a population of 2,049. This made it the 16th largest of 42 barangays in Nabua by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Angustia accounted for approximately 2.37% of the total population of Nabua, which stood at 86,490 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Angustia moving from 1,916 residents to 2,049 residents, an intercensal change of +6.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Angustia as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
