Barangay Lourdes Young

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Lourdes Young is one of the administrative divisions of Nabua in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Lourdes Young had a population of 3,610. This made it the 4th largest of 42 barangays in Nabua by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lourdes Young accounted for approximately 4.17% of the total population of Nabua, which stood at 86,490 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Lourdes Young changed from 3,461 to 3,610, a shift of +4.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Nabua. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Lourdes Young as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Nabua is a municipality comprising 42 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lourdes Young, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
