Barangay Landingan

Barangay Landingan is a small barangay in the municipality of Nagtipunan, located in the province of Quirino, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Landingan had a population of 1,952. This made it the 5th largest of 16 barangays in Nagtipunan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Landingan accounted for approximately 7.69% of the total population of Nagtipunan, which stood at 25,399 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Landingan moving from 1,868 residents to 1,952 residents, an intercensal change of +4.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Landingan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Nagtipunan is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Landingan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
