Barangay Mataddi

Situated in Nagtipunan, Quirino, Barangay Mataddi is one of 16 barangays that make up the municipality within Cagayan Valley.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Mataddi had a population of 628. This made it the 14th largest of 16 barangays in Nagtipunan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mataddi accounted for approximately 2.47% of the total population of Nagtipunan, which stood at 25,399 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mataddi moving from 531 residents to 628 residents, an intercensal change of +18.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Mataddi as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
