Barangay Old Gumiad

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Old Gumiad is one of the administrative divisions of Nagtipunan in Quirino, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Old Gumiad had a population of 1,087. This made it the 11th largest of 16 barangays in Nagtipunan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Old Gumiad accounted for approximately 4.28% of the total population of Nagtipunan, which stood at 25,399 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Old Gumiad moving from 845 residents to 1,087 residents, an intercensal change of +28.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Old Gumiad as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
