Barangay Poblacion

Situated in Natonin, Mountain Province, Barangay Poblacion is one of 11 barangays that make up the municipality within CAR.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion had a population of 1,510. This made it the 2nd largest of 11 barangays in Natonin by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion accounted for approximately 14.60% of the total population of Natonin, which stood at 10,339 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Poblacion moving from 1,556 residents to 1,510 residents, an intercensal change of -3.0%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Poblacion as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
