Barangay Saliok

Barangay Saliok is a small barangay in the municipality of Natonin, located in the province of Mountain Province, in the CAR region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Saliok had a population of 878. This made it the 6th largest of 11 barangays in Natonin by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Saliok accounted for approximately 8.49% of the total population of Natonin, which stood at 10,339 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Saliok moving from 827 residents to 878 residents, an intercensal change of +6.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Saliok is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Natonin is a municipality comprising 11 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Saliok, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
