Barangay Cabungaan

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Cabungaan is one of the administrative divisions of Naval in Biliran, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cabungaan had a population of 448. This made it the 25th largest of 26 barangays in Naval by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cabungaan accounted for approximately 0.77% of the total population of Naval, which stood at 58,187 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Cabungaan moving from 398 residents to 448 residents, an intercensal change of +12.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Cabungaan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
