Situated in Naval, Biliran, Barangay Larrazabal is one of 26 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Larrazabal had a population of 5,153. This made it the 2nd largest of 26 barangays in Naval by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Larrazabal accounted for approximately 8.86% of the total population of Naval, which stood at 58,187 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,009 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 5,153 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +28.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Larrazabal is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Naval is a municipality comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Larrazabal, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
