Situated in New Corella, Davao Del Norte, Barangay Santo Niño is one of 20 barangays that make up the municipality within Davao Region.

This made it the 16th largest of 20 barangays in New Corella by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Santo Niño changed from 1,273 to 1,319, a shift of +3.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in New Corella.
