Barangay Canduyong

Situated in Odiongan, Romblon, Barangay Canduyong is one of 25 barangays that make up the municipality within MIMAROPA Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Canduyong had a population of 2,097. This made it the 12th largest of 25 barangays in Odiongan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Canduyong accounted for approximately 4.25% of the total population of Odiongan, which stood at 49,284 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Canduyong moving from 1,790 residents to 2,097 residents, an intercensal change of +17.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Canduyong as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
