Barangay Dapawan

Barangay Dapawan is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Odiongan, located in the province of Romblon, in the MIMAROPA Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dapawan had a population of 4,334. This made it the 1st largest of 25 barangays in Odiongan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dapawan accounted for approximately 8.79% of the total population of Odiongan, which stood at 49,284 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Dapawan moving from 4,126 residents to 4,334 residents, an intercensal change of +5.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dapawan as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
