Barangay Paypayon (Pob.)

Barangay Paypayon (Pob.) is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Oras, located in the province of Eastern Samar, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Paypayon (Pob.) had a population of 3,382. This made it the 1st largest of 42 barangays in Oras by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Paypayon (Pob.) accounted for approximately 9.03% of the total population of Oras, which stood at 37,451 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Paypayon (Pob.) moving from 3,302 residents to 3,382 residents, an intercensal change of +2.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
