Barangay Palili

Situated in Padada, Davao Del Sur, Barangay Palili is one of 17 barangays that make up the municipality within Davao Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Palili had a population of 1,318. This made it the 13th largest of 17 barangays in Padada by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Palili accounted for approximately 4.41% of the total population of Padada, which stood at 29,878 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Palili changed from 1,104 to 1,318, a shift of +19.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Padada. Barangay Palili is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Padada is a municipality comprising 17 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Palili, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
