Barangay Santo Niño

Barangay Santo Niño forms part of Pagsanghan, a municipality in Samar, and is classified as a small barangay.

This made it the 2nd largest of 13 barangays in Pagsanghan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Niño accounted for approximately 12.68% of the total population of Pagsanghan, which stood at 7,959 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Santo Niño moving from 1,044 residents to 1,009 residents, an intercensal change of -3.4%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santo Niño as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
