Barangay San Isidro

Barangay San Isidro is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Pagsanjan, located in the province of Laguna, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 2,757. This made it the 7th largest of 16 barangays in Pagsanjan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 6.22% of the total population of Pagsanjan, which stood at 44,327 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Isidro moving from 2,985 residents to 2,757 residents, an intercensal change of -7.6%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Isidro as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
