Barangay Caparispisan

Barangay Caparispisan is a small barangay in the municipality of Pagudpud, located in the province of Ilocos Norte, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Caparispisan had a population of 930. This made it the 14th largest of 16 barangays in Pagudpud by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Caparispisan accounted for approximately 3.71% of the total population of Pagudpud, which stood at 25,098 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Caparispisan changed from 839 to 930, a shift of +10.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Pagudpud. Barangay Caparispisan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pagudpud is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Caparispisan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
