Barangay Dorado

Situated in Pakil, Laguna, Barangay Dorado is one of 13 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dorado had a population of 265. This made it the 13th largest of 13 barangays in Pakil by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dorado accounted for approximately 1.13% of the total population of Pakil, which stood at 23,495 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Dorado changed from 585 to 265, a shift of -54.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Pakil. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dorado as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
