Barangay Rizal (Pob.)

Barangay Rizal (Pob.) is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Pakil, located in the province of Laguna, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Rizal (Pob.) had a population of 3,130. This made it the 2nd largest of 13 barangays in Pakil by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Rizal (Pob.) accounted for approximately 13.32% of the total population of Pakil, which stood at 23,495 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Rizal (Pob.) changed from 2,362 to 3,130, a shift of +32.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Pakil. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Rizal (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pakil is a municipality comprising 13 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Rizal (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
