Barangay Kabulusan

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Kabulusan is one of the administrative divisions of Pakil in Laguna, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Kabulusan had a population of 4,330. This made it the 1st largest of 13 barangays in Pakil by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kabulusan accounted for approximately 18.43% of the total population of Pakil, which stood at 23,495 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Kabulusan changed from 3,500 to 4,330, a shift of +23.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Pakil. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Kabulusan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pakil is a municipality comprising 13 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Kabulusan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Laguna, which contains 681 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Kabulusan ranks 201st by 2020 population.
