Barangay Luntad (Pob.)

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Luntad (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Palo in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Luntad (Pob.) had a population of 454. This made it the 32nd largest of 33 barangays in Palo by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Luntad (Pob.) accounted for approximately 0.60% of the total population of Palo, which stood at 76,213 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Luntad (Pob.) changed from 441 to 454, a shift of +2.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Palo. Barangay Luntad (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Palo is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Luntad (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
