Barangay San Isidro

Barangay San Isidro is a small barangay in the municipality of Palo, located in the province of Leyte, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 1,465. This made it the 23rd largest of 33 barangays in Palo by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 1.92% of the total population of Palo, which stood at 76,213 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Isidro moving from 1,442 residents to 1,465 residents, an intercensal change of +1.6%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community.
