Barangay Cagbigajo

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Cagbigajo is one of the administrative divisions of Pambujan in Northern Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cagbigajo had a population of 576. This made it the 23rd largest of 26 barangays in Pambujan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cagbigajo accounted for approximately 1.62% of the total population of Pambujan, which stood at 35,532 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 508 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 576 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +13.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Cagbigajo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pambujan is a municipality comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cagbigajo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Northern Samar, which contains 569 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Cagbigajo ranks 382nd by 2020 population.
