Barangay Canjumadal

Situated in Pambujan, Northern Samar, Barangay Canjumadal is one of 26 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Canjumadal had a population of 663. This made it the 20th largest of 26 barangays in Pambujan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Canjumadal accounted for approximately 1.87% of the total population of Pambujan, which stood at 35,532 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 604 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 663 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +9.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Canjumadal as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pambujan is a municipality comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Canjumadal, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Northern Samar, which contains 569 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Canjumadal ranks 340th by 2020 population.
