Barangay Ge-adgawan

Situated in Pambujan, Northern Samar, Barangay Ge-adgawan is one of 26 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Ge-adgawan had a population of 799. This made it the 17th largest of 26 barangays in Pambujan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ge-adgawan accounted for approximately 2.25% of the total population of Pambujan, which stood at 35,532 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 762 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 799 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +4.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Ge-adgawan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pambujan is a municipality comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Ge-adgawan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
