Barangay Mamburao

Situated in Pamplona, Negros Oriental, Barangay Mamburao is one of 16 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Mamburao had a population of 2,014. This made it the 9th largest of 16 barangays in Pamplona by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mamburao accounted for approximately 5.06% of the total population of Pamplona, which stood at 39,805 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mamburao moving from 1,963 residents to 2,014 residents, an intercensal change of +2.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Mamburao as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
