Barangay San Isidro

Barangay San Isidro is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Pamplona, located in the province of Negros Oriental, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 3,217. This made it the 2nd largest of 16 barangays in Pamplona by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 8.08% of the total population of Pamplona, which stood at 39,805 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Isidro moving from 3,147 residents to 3,217 residents, an intercensal change of +2.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Isidro as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
