Barangay Yupisan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Yupisan is one of the administrative divisions of Pamplona in Negros Oriental, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Yupisan had a population of 1,867. This made it the 10th largest of 16 barangays in Pamplona by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Yupisan accounted for approximately 4.69% of the total population of Pamplona, which stood at 39,805 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Yupisan moving from 2,144 residents to 1,867 residents, an intercensal change of -12.9%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Yupisan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
