Barangay Curva

Barangay Curva forms part of Pamplona, a municipality in Cagayan, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Curva had a population of 3,900. This made it the 1st largest of 18 barangays in Pamplona by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Curva accounted for approximately 15.74% of the total population of Pamplona, which stood at 24,781 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Curva moving from 3,964 residents to 3,900 residents, an intercensal change of -1.6%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. Barangay Curva is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pamplona is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Curva, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
