Barangay Cuyapiao

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Cuyapiao is one of the administrative divisions of Patnongon in Antique, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cuyapiao had a population of 1,096. This made it the 12th largest of 36 barangays in Patnongon by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cuyapiao accounted for approximately 2.86% of the total population of Patnongon, which stood at 38,329 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Cuyapiao moving from 1,050 residents to 1,096 residents, an intercensal change of +4.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Cuyapiao as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
