Barangay Sucsuquen

Situated in Piddig, Ilocos Norte, Barangay Sucsuquen is one of 23 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Sucsuquen had a population of 689. This made it the 14th largest of 23 barangays in Piddig by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sucsuquen accounted for approximately 3.07% of the total population of Piddig, which stood at 22,475 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Sucsuquen changed from 681 to 689, a shift of +1.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Piddig. Barangay Sucsuquen is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
