Barangay Narnara

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Narnara is one of the administrative divisions of Pilar in Abra, CAR, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Narnara had a population of 302. This made it the 14th largest of 19 barangays in Pilar by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Narnara accounted for approximately 2.98% of the total population of Pilar, which stood at 10,146 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Narnara moving from 321 residents to 302 residents, an intercensal change of -5.9%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Narnara as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Pilar is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Narnara, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
