Barangay Palestina

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Palestina is one of the administrative divisions of Pili in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Palestina had a population of 6,024. This made it the 3rd largest of 26 barangays in Pili by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Palestina accounted for approximately 6.07% of the total population of Pili, which stood at 99,196 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Palestina moving from 6,096 residents to 6,024 residents, an intercensal change of -1.2%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Palestina as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Pili is a municipality comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Palestina, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
