Barangay Sagurong

Situated in Pili, Camarines Sur, Barangay Sagurong is one of 26 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Sagurong had a population of 2,765. This made it the 17th largest of 26 barangays in Pili by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sagurong accounted for approximately 2.79% of the total population of Pili, which stood at 99,196 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sagurong moving from 2,625 residents to 2,765 residents, an intercensal change of +5.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Sagurong as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
