Barangay San Jose

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay San Jose is one of the administrative divisions of Pili in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Jose had a population of 13,339. This made it the 1st largest of 26 barangays in Pili by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Jose accounted for approximately 13.45% of the total population of Pili, which stood at 99,196 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Jose moving from 12,599 residents to 13,339 residents, an intercensal change of +5.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Jose as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Pili is a municipality comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Jose, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
