Barangay Panubigan

Situated in Pitogo, Zamboanga Del Sur, Barangay Panubigan is one of 15 barangays that make up the municipality within Zamboanga Peninsula.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Panubigan had a population of 3,463. This made it the 2nd largest of 15 barangays in Pitogo by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Panubigan accounted for approximately 12.59% of the total population of Pitogo, which stood at 27,516 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Panubigan moving from 3,389 residents to 3,463 residents, an intercensal change of +2.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
