Barangay Quibrada

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Quibrada is one of the administrative divisions of Placer in Masbate, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Quibrada had a population of 308. This made it the 35th largest of 35 barangays in Placer by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Quibrada accounted for approximately 0.55% of the total population of Placer, which stood at 56,340 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 311 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 308 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -1.0%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Quibrada as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Placer is a municipality comprising 35 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Quibrada, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Masbate, which contains 550 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Quibrada ranks 546th by 2020 population.
