Barangay Ilaya (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Ilaya (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Pontevedra in Capiz, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Ilaya (Pob.) had a population of 937. This made it the 18th largest of 26 barangays in Pontevedra by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ilaya (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.88% of the total population of Pontevedra, which stood at 49,725 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Ilaya (Pob.) moving from 1,019 residents to 937 residents, an intercensal change of -8.0%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
