Barangay Saguise

Situated in President Carlos P. Garcia, Bohol, Barangay Saguise is one of 23 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Saguise had a population of 695. This made it the 16th largest of 23 barangays in President Carlos P. Garcia by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Saguise accounted for approximately 2.94% of the total population of President Carlos P. Garcia, which stood at 23,625 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 715 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 695 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -2.8%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Saguise is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
