Barangay Bagumbayan

Barangay Bagumbayan forms part of President Quirino, a municipality in Sultan Kudarat, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bagumbayan had a population of 1,109. This made it the 16th largest of 19 barangays in President Quirino by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bagumbayan accounted for approximately 2.63% of the total population of President Quirino, which stood at 42,244 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bagumbayan moving from 1,132 residents to 1,109 residents, an intercensal change of -2.0%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bagumbayan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

President Quirino is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bagumbayan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
