Barangay Pedtubo

Situated in President Quirino, Sultan Kudarat, Barangay Pedtubo is one of 19 barangays that make up the municipality within SOCCSKSARGEN.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pedtubo had a population of 1,895. This made it the 10th largest of 19 barangays in President Quirino by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pedtubo accounted for approximately 4.49% of the total population of President Quirino, which stood at 42,244 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,102 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,895 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -9.8%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Pedtubo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

President Quirino is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pedtubo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Sultan Kudarat, which contains 249 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Pedtubo ranks 191st by 2020 population.
